Features

Lossless conversion

PNG keeps every pixel exactly as decoded, so no new compression artefacts are introduced.

Transparency restored

Alpha channels survive the conversion, so logos and cut-outs stay usable in any editor.

Resize while converting

Cap the width to produce a lighter PNG in a single step.

Private by design

All processing runs in your browser tab — files are never uploaded.

PNG as an editable master

Most image editors still treat PNG as the default working format because it is lossless and widely supported. Converting back to PNG gives you a file you can crop, layer, and recompress without stacking artefacts.

  • Lossless — nothing is re-compressed
  • Transparency supported
  • Opens in every editor and platform

WebP or PNG — which to keep?

Keep WebP for delivery, because it is lighter on the web. Keep PNG as the master for editing, archiving, or any workflow that needs to crop and re-save repeatedly.

  • WebP — fastest downloads
  • PNG — safe master and editing source
  • Convert both ways in two clicks

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert WebP to PNG?

Add your .webp files and click Convert to PNG. To scale them down at the same time, set a maximum width under Advanced settings.

Does WebP to PNG reduce quality?

No. PNG is lossless, so the output contains exactly the pixels decoded from the WebP, with no additional compression artefacts.

Does the conversion keep transparency?

Yes. If your WebP has an alpha channel, the PNG keeps it, which makes the result safe to use as a logo or cut-out.

Why is the PNG larger than the WebP?

The WebP was already compressed; PNG stores the same image losslessly and therefore needs more space. Set a maximum width to bring the file size back down.

Can I convert several WebP files at once?

Yes. Drop in as many WebP images as you like. Each result keeps its filename with a .png extension and can be downloaded as one ZIP.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Decoding and encoding run locally inside your browser, so your files stay on your device.
