Advanced settings

PNG is lossless: vector edges are reproduced exactly as drawn, so there is no quality slider to set.

How to convert SVG to PNG

  1. 1

    Add your SVG files

Drop in a single logo or a whole icon set. Files exported from Figma, Illustrator, Inkscape, or Sketch all work.

  2. 2

    Pick the output size

Enter a width or height and the aspect ratio is kept automatically. Leave both empty to rasterize at the SVG’s own size.

  3. 3

    Download your PNGs

Save files one by one or grab the whole batch as a ZIP. Every PNG opens anywhere, no SVG support needed.

Features

True vector to raster

Paths, gradients, and strokes are re-rendered at full resolution, so edges stay crisp instead of blurring like a screenshot.

Any size, both directions

Vectors are resolution-independent, so a 24px icon and a 2400px hero graphic both rasterize perfectly from the same file.

Transparency preserved

Transparent areas stay transparent, or paint a white or black background when a solid backdrop is what you need.

Runs on your device

The SVG is parsed and drawn by your browser. No uploads, no waiting queue, no watermark on the result.

What is an SVG file?

SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is the vector image format of the web. Instead of storing pixels, it stores shapes and paths as readable XML, which is why logos and icons stay razor-sharp at every size.

  • Text-based XML you can read, edit, and diff
  • Scales to any size without losing detail
  • Renders in every modern browser

Why convert SVG to PNG?

PNG is the safest way to share vector artwork. Every app, email client, printer, and social platform opens it, and transparency behaves exactly the way you drew it.

  • Universal support, including email clients and Office apps
  • Lossless, so nothing is thrown away
  • Transparent backgrounds supported

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert an SVG file to a PNG?

Drop your .svg file into the box above, optionally set the pixel width or height you need, and click Convert to PNG. Your browser renders the vector artwork and exports a PNG — no software to install.

Will converting SVG to PNG make it blurry?

Not at all — as long as you choose a sensible size. PNG stores fixed pixels, so a 512×512 PNG will look soft if you later stretch it across a 4K screen. Because the source is vector, you can set a larger width and get a genuinely sharp result instead.

Does SVG to PNG keep transparency?

Yes. Transparent regions stay transparent by default. If you need the artwork flattened onto a solid colour — for example for a JPG workflow — choose a white or black background.

Why will my SVG not open in some apps?

Many desktop apps, older software, and some email clients have no SVG support at all, and a few mail clients strip the markup away entirely. PNG is the universal fallback that renders everywhere.

Can I convert a whole batch of SVG files at once?

Yes. Drop in as many SVGs as you like, in mixed sizes. Each file is rendered at its own dimensions, and you can download the results individually or as a single ZIP archive.

Are my SVG files uploaded to a server?

Never. The SVG is parsed and drawn inside your own browser. That matters for unreleased logos, client artwork, and internal designs that should not leave your machine.
