How to convert SVG to JPG

  1. 1

    Add your SVG files

Drag in logos, icons, or illustrations exported from any vector editor — one file or a whole folder.

  2. 2

    Set size and background

JPG has no transparency, so pick a white or black backdrop. Enter a width or height and the ratio is preserved.

  3. 3

    Download your JPGs

Save the batch as a ZIP or file by file. Every JPG opens in any app, on any platform.

Features

Vector-sharp output

The artwork is redrawn from the SVG at your chosen resolution, so curves and diagonals stay clean at any size.

White or black backdrop

Transparent regions are flattened onto the colour you pick, which is exactly what JPG requires — no black boxes by accident.

Quality dial

Fine-tune compression to shave off kilobytes for email and social posts, or stay at 100% for pixel-perfect fidelity.

Private by design

Rendering happens on your device. Unreleased logos and client artwork never touch a server.

When JPG beats PNG

PNG is lossless but heavy. If the artwork has no transparency to preserve — or you need a small file for email, a CMS upload, or a printed handout — JPG is the better trade.

  • Far smaller files for the same image
  • Accepted by literally every app and printer
  • Best for opaque artwork and photos

What happens to transparency?

JPG cannot store an alpha channel. Anything transparent in your SVG is filled with the background colour you choose, so pick white for light artwork and black for light-on-dark logos.

  • Transparent becomes white or black
  • Set the size before converting
  • Quality slider affects file size only

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert SVG to JPG?

Add your .svg files, set the output width or height if you want a specific size, pick a background colour, then click Convert to JPG. The whole process happens in your browser.

Why did my transparent background turn black?

JPG has no transparency channel, so transparent pixels must be replaced with a solid colour. Choose White or Black under Background before converting — white is the safe default for most logos.

What resolution should I choose for JPG?

Match the size where the image will be used: 1200px wide for a full-width website hero, 800px for a blog post, 400px for a social card. Because SVG is vector, a larger number simply means more detail — never a blurrier result.

Can I convert multiple SVG files in one batch?

Yes. Drop in as many SVGs as you need. Each is rasterized separately with its own dimensions preserved, and the results download individually or together in one ZIP.

Will JPG conversion lose quality?

JPG is a lossy format, so a little data is discarded. At the default 92% quality the difference is invisible to the eye; raise the slider toward 100% when the image will be printed or heavily edited.

Are my SVG files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your browser parses the SVG and renders it to a canvas locally. Nothing is transmitted, stored, or queued.
